God’s Armor-Pushin’ Your Shoes

“and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;” Ephesians 6:15

There’s a homeless slang, “Pushin’ your shoes” that fits here. When your feet are your vehicle the shoes you wear matter. Much more so in battle.

Father, thank you that you supply the best combat boots. I am blessed that my shoes are pushing the gospel of peace which has been prepared before I step out. I can’t lose or go wrong. Where you found no intercessor to cry out for justice in Isaiah may I be the one you choose to zealously cry out on behalf of those who do not know the gospel of peace. Thank you for making my feet beautiful on the mountains as I announce “Shalom!” your perfect peace, body, soul and mind, saying, “My God is King!” (Isaiah 52:7)

As the author of the book, "Ziklag, a Den of Safety" I named the believers of God LightKeepers. Since I think of myself as a LightKeeper it is fitting to correlate that with light houses and their significance in aiding storm-tossed navigators to safety. Whether rough seas or smooth sailing, I hope my beckoning beacon shines through darkness, our very real opposition, so others reach God's shore of blessings.
