God’s Armor-It is Written

“Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth…” Ephesians 6:14

Isaiah 59 shows God putting on the gear of a soldier because no worthy intercessor could be found. Paul calls it God’s armor because it is. Not only has authority been given to us; our protective gear is God’s garb clad with zeal as a cloak.

Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, you suited up for us and now you’ve given us the battle raiment to conquer the enemy. Thank you for the belt of truth. Without truth around our waist we have nowhere to hold the sword of the word of God. Thank you that as the Roman soldier’s belt was worn even when not in battle, the belt of truth is our status symbol too. “It is written” and as Jesus overcame Satan in the wilderness, we proudly wrap the belt of truth around our waist and go out to battle full of the zeal of the God-of-Angels-Armies.

“It is written” (Mark 16) that victorious signs would accompany believers of Yeshua. Thank you that demons flee in Jesus’ name and for the supernatural prayer language that calls heaven down to earth! Nothing can harm us, and the sick are healed in His name. Amen!

As the author of the book, "Ziklag, a Den of Safety" I named the believers of God LightKeepers. Since I think of myself as a LightKeeper it is fitting to correlate that with light houses and their significance in aiding storm-tossed navigators to safety. Whether rough seas or smooth sailing, I hope my beckoning beacon shines through darkness, our very real opposition, so others reach God's shore of blessings.
