Reposition Yourself!

“We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you for help.” (2 Chronicles 20:12)

If you are frantic, praying in desperation, this word is for you, LightKeeper.

Journal entry: “Frantic prayer is not hope-filled prayer.” My response: “Help me
to stay in perfect peace in the midst of chaos and surprises. I don’t want to
be distracted by them.”

Thus, my prayer for my dear LightKeepers: “Don’t be afraid, don’t be discouraged! The battle is not yours but God’s. Take your position, stand still and watch the
Lord’s victory. He is with you!” (2 Chronicles 20:15-17)

As the author of the book, "Ziklag, a Den of Safety" I named the believers of God LightKeepers. Since I think of myself as a LightKeeper it is fitting to correlate that with light houses and their significance in aiding storm-tossed navigators to safety. Whether rough seas or smooth sailing, I hope my beckoning beacon shines through darkness, our very real opposition, so others reach God's shore of blessings.
