LightKeeper’s Encouragement

As the tempest of evil pounds against the lighthouse, so we, as LightKeepers, feel the surge of evil blast against our foundations. But you, Yeshua, are the firm rock beneath our feet as we brace ourselves against the mighty surf of wickedness trying to diminish our light. Yet, the beacon of a lighthouse withstands the fiercest storms. “Ha!” the lighthouse smirks, “I was designed for storms.” The lighthouse doesn’t shy away from storms. No, on the contrary, the lighthouse beckons the weary vessel home to safe shores because LightKeepers stand watch, shine the prisms, and oil their lamps.

As the author of the book, "Ziklag, a Den of Safety" I named the believers of God LightKeepers. Since I think of myself as a LightKeeper it is fitting to correlate that with light houses and their significance in aiding storm-tossed navigators to safety. Whether rough seas or smooth sailing, I hope my beckoning beacon shines through darkness, our very real opposition, so others reach God's shore of blessings.
