Holy Fragrance

Fighting pain during the night left me free to pray and dream as I came in and out of slumber. I thanked God for all the work that got done on behalf of myself and others as the Spirit led.

Whether dream or vision, not sure, but I watched a mist rise from a flower. I wondered fragrance or pollen? Maybe, both. Learned this important lesson that flowers who need night pollinators produce a stronger scent at night so the moths or bats can find them in the dark without color identification.

Consider this: As the flower emits more scent in darkness so we, God’s children, must grow stronger in prayer (holy incense) in the present darkness. As this world grows darker so the incense of the saints must wax stronger to pollinate the world with God’s justice and righteousness.

Don’t give up, LightKeeper!

As the author of the book, "Ziklag, a Den of Safety" I named the believers of God LightKeepers. Since I think of myself as a LightKeeper it is fitting to correlate that with light houses and their significance in aiding storm-tossed navigators to safety. Whether rough seas or smooth sailing, I hope my beckoning beacon shines through darkness, our very real opposition, so others reach God's shore of blessings.
