Our Capstone

Psalm 118:22 & 23, says “The very stone that the masons rejected as flawed has turned out to be the most important capstone of the arch, holding up the very house of God. The Lord himself is the one who has done this, and it’s so amazing to see!” (TPT)

Heavenly Father, we stand amazed that Jesus is the capstone, the perfect archway into your kingdom! Other masons rejected this stone as flawed but not us. By some mighty miracle you allowed us to enter the archway of your love and kingdom, the narrow way, the Jesus way. Jesus said in Mathew 21: 44, “And whoever falls on this stone will be broken;” So we bless your name for opening our eyes to make you the plumb line of our lives. We take no comfort in religious traditions. Moral codes don’t save us. As we rejoice in amazement, Yah, we know many who are stumbling over this capstone, Jesus. It breaks our hearts and we bring them to you by name trusting Holy Spirit to remove the imperfections that they think they see enabling them to walk through the archway of trust too.

As the author of the book, "Ziklag, a Den of Safety" I named the believers of God LightKeepers. Since I think of myself as a LightKeeper it is fitting to correlate that with light houses and their significance in aiding storm-tossed navigators to safety. Whether rough seas or smooth sailing, I hope my beckoning beacon shines through darkness, our very real opposition, so others reach God's shore of blessings.
