Your Condition is Not Your Position

“The time has come for the king’s son to reign! The Lord has promised that a descendant of David will be our king.” (2 Chronicles 23: 3)

“The time has come…” His condition was not his position until the time was right. As with Joash, our condition may not align with our position until the time ordained by God. So I implore you, those with positions, do not abandon your position because of your condition.

God can change that in a moment as he did for Joash, the young king who rose to power and defeated the enemy encampment against the nation of Israel.

As the author of the book, "Ziklag, a Den of Safety" I named the believers of God LightKeepers. Since I think of myself as a LightKeeper it is fitting to correlate that with light houses and their significance in aiding storm-tossed navigators to safety. Whether rough seas or smooth sailing, I hope my beckoning beacon shines through darkness, our very real opposition, so others reach God's shore of blessings.
