Taking Captivity Captive by Linda Potter

Father, thank you that according to Luke 11, the power of God casts out demons confirming real hostilities between two kingdoms among us. Heaven clashes with hell. Jesus, the stronger one, clears out the armory full of weapons used against us, his children. We are the spoils of the victory, the plunder Heaven wants. He will confront the enemy to set his precious ones free.
Isn’t it amazing that God has given us authority over all the sovereignty of the enemy? As priests and kings in the Kingdom of God we destroy the weapons being used against us in Jesus’ name. Many of your sons and daughters are succumbing to the world’s constant barrage of artillery. These long rang munitions include addictions, mind altering substances, deception and fatal attractions. With the authority vested in me I strip these weapons from the enemy’s arsenal. I declare that the closet is empty and the opposing kingdom cannot fire on us.
Heavenly Father, your rule is supreme on the earth! I ask you to cast out the enemy and all his devices against your children. Deliver us from captivity! You take captivity captive!
We will see those held captive being restored in the Kingdom of God and they are mighty in the land. Their witness and testimony cannot be stifled or silenced in any way. Also, many transfer their kingdom allegiances when they hear the words and see the lives of the captives set free.
By the authority and witness of God, we repel the onslaught at the gate! The gate of our homes, the gate of our mind, our eyes, our ears, our hearts, our computers, devices of every sort. We are diligent to resist the enemy at any port of entry therefore we are never taken captive again. The victory is ours, in Jesus’ supreme name.
