What if we owned the truth that we abide in an unshakeable kingdom as Hebrews 12:28 suggests? It says that we stand in an unshakeable kingdom! It is the only unshakeable kingdom in the earth. This kingdom remains after the old system is shaken, after darkness is consumed by the light of truth. It’s the victorious kingdom and it’s ours.
What if we thought of ourselves as a kingdom? We say, rightly so, that Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings, so where’s his kingdom? Jesus said, “But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has arrived among you.”
I wonder if we only see ourselves as a church, a family, the body of Christ on the earth and not a kingdom. A real touch-your-neighbor kingdom. Kingdoms have princes and princesses, judges and priests and warriors, which are positions of authority to exercise with great dignity because we are representing the King of kings’ kingdom.
It is a reality that the enemy doesn’t want us to take hold of. It is a solid position of power from heaven. “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Right? As we walk in the dominion of this kingdom we are bringing heaven to earth as Jesus did. We must rule and reign on the earth in Jesus’ stead.
And what if as Daniel states, “the sovereignty, power, and greatness of all kingdoms will be given to the holy people of the Most High” begins today and grows into the fullness of that day? It must begin here and now, with you and me.
No matter what shakes our kingdom is unshakeable!
