His Story, My History

Reading the Bible together, Psalm 81-86 and related passages in Isaiah. LightKeepers join me!

A meme appeared as I was preparing to launch this series, “His Story, Our History” which sums up my intentions for this rewarding endeavor. It reads, “The Bible doesn’t need to be re-written, it needs to be re-read.” These videos will be Bible readings with some personal commentary when I can’t help myself! In this video I am reading from Psalm 81-85 and Isaiah 59-60:3. They go together and reflect the sentiment of the day. Of course His Story is always relevant!

Wickies trimmed wicks on oil lamps in lighthouses enabling light to bore through darkness. This task, although mundane, saved lives. I think of myself as a LightKeeper, trimming, so God's light shines through me. Whether rough seas or smooth sailing, I hope my beckoning beacon shines through darkness so others safely beachhead.
