Never underestimate the power of your smile! The smiles I relished today lightened my concerns and set me on this reflection, “What would Jesus’ smile look like?”
A few minutes later I felt a wash of emotion, a very strong feeling. Almost as if his smile is more of a feeling than a look. Then this, “It would look like every smile you’ve ever seen all together, all at once,” Overwhelming!
Consider the smiles you remember from loved ones alive and gone. The stranger at the store who smiles and nods, a baby’s contagious giggles. Think of your smile treasury… so many! So rich in your heart! Go through the photos on your phone and pause… consider that each one was from the heart of Jesus.
Just maybe, quite possibly, Jesus’ heart shines through our smiles. It’s decided! I will share my Jesus smile with everyone I meet because I might be adding to their Jesus-smile vault.
